Opened in 1939, the transmitters improved radio reception across the south west of England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hopefully your stop at Beesands will have invigorated you for the walk ahead, which proceeds for a fair distance until you arrive at Hallsands.
