12 – View of Hallsands

Stop 12
The view towards Hallsands
SX 817 392

Pause to look back for a great view of the coast.

On top of the cliffs are the twin masts of what was originally the West Regional Transmitting Station. Opened in 1939, the transmitters improved radio reception across the south west of England.

Hopefully your stop at Beesands will have invigorated you for the walk ahead, which proceeds for a fair distance until you arrive at Hallsands. Keep going along the coast path until the hill starts to slope down towards the village.
